I’m Mahsa, the founder of this centre and an Early Childhood Educator with a background in social services. I bring years of experience supporting children and families, and I’m committed to creating a safe, warm, loving, caring space for your child.

My Story

Before starting my journey in early learning, I spent over eight years in social services, where I worked closely with people and learned deeply about human behaviour, emotions, and family dynamics. Those years shaped the way I listen, understand, and connect with others.

Later, I completed my Early Childhood Education program at Seneca College, and in 2019, I officially began working with children in a professional setting. Since then, I’ve had the joy of supporting children of different ages, personalities, and backgrounds—and each experience has strengthened my passion for creating meaningful, caring spaces for them.

As a mother- and family-focused educator, my goal is simple:

to build a place where parents feel at ease and children feel safe, loved, and excited to learn. I believe that every child deserves patience, respect, and a warm environment where they can grow confidently at their own pace.

Play based Philosophy

At Little Care, we believe that play is a child’s natural way of learning. When children build, pretend, explore, and ask questions, they are not “just playing” – they are developing language, social skills, problem-solving, creativity, and confidence. In a play-based environment, educators carefully design invitations to play with open-ended materials, cozy spaces, and meaningful experiences that follow each child’s interests and ideas. Instead of pushing children to sit and listen, we meet them where they are and gently guide their learning through hands-on discovery.

Our role is to be co-learners and careful observers, not just instructors. We watch how children interact, what they are curious about, and how they express their feelings, then we extend their play with questions, stories, materials, and activities that challenge them just enough. This approach honours each child’s unique pace and personality, supports their emotional well-being, and creates a warm, joyful atmosphere where children feel safe to try, make mistakes, and grow. Through play, children don’t just prepare for “real learning” later – they are learning in the most powerful way, right now.
